Brad Kaplan
Brad Kaplan is a partner in both the firm's Cincinnati and Chicago offices. His focus is on commercial transactions and real estate related transactions. With significant experience negotiating and drafting purchase, sale, financing, leasing and construction agreements, he advises domestic and international companies and commercial, industrial and residential property development and general business issues. Kaplan is the editor of the Real Estate Advisor Law Blog.

Bill Gagliano is the Chair of the Real Estate Group and is located in the firm's Cleveland office. His background and experience includes construction law, affordable housing, real estate development, property taxation and abatement, and leasing. Bill's litigation practice focuses on property ownership disputes, title insurance litigation, construction claims and leasing matters.
Mary Lovett is a partner in the firm's Cleveland office and focuses her practice on real estate and business law and has significant experience handling the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, zoning and environmental matters related to real property. Lovett specializes in the development and financing of urban properties, utilizing tax credit and other government development incentive tools.
Scott Kadish is the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Cincinnati office. He is also the Chair of the Shopping Centers Group as a result of his nationwide representation of landlords and tenants in the development and lease up of shopping centers. Kadish also counsels clients on other real estate and business transactions and general business law.
Bob Karl is the Chair of the firm's Environmental Law Group and Green Business Practice based in the Columbus office. He focuses his practice on environmental law, real estate, business law and business litigation. Bob gained valuable experience as Assistant Ohio Attorney General, Environmental Enforcement Section, where he managed and supervised more than 250 water and multi-media civil enforcement actions in various courts.
John Goheen is a partner in the firm's Cleveland office and Chair of the firm's Income Tax Group. His background and experience includes corporate law, partnerships and real estate. He structures complex transactions to take advantage of tax opportunities ad avoid tax pitfalls.
Fred Widen is a partner in the firm's Cleveland office, He concentrates his practice on representing real estate developers, professional corporations, heal care providers, and other clients in numerous taxation, real estate and employee benefits matters. Fred also assists clients in structure business acquisitions and dispositions, Section 1031 exchanges and real estate transfers.
